Privacy Policy

When you open a page on scythestudio.com we record:

• The page or section you viewed, and the time you viewed it.
• The referring website, if you arrived from a link somewhere else (for example Discord or a search engine).
• A rough device category — mobile, tablet or desktop — worked out from your browser window size.
• Your browser language and time zone setting.
• A random session identifier stored in your browser for the current tab, so repeat page views in one visit are not counted as separate people.

No names, no email addresses, no account details, no payment information, no precise location, and no advertising or cross-site tracking. The session identifier is a random string; it is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to recognise you on any other website. We do not sell or share this data with advertisers.

Only to understand how the site is performing: how many people visit, which sections hold attention, and where visitors come from. It helps us improve the pages and decide what to add or remove.

Visit records are stored in our own hosted database and are readable only by the site owner through a password-protected admin area. Nobody else can query them.

We use a single piece of browser storage to hold the random session identifier described above. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and a fresh identifier is created on your next visit.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files. If you follow our Discord or Instagram links, those platforms have their own privacy policies that apply once you are on them.

Because the data we hold is anonymous, we usually cannot find or delete records tied to a specific person — there is nothing linking them to you. If you contact us directly, we only keep that message for as long as needed to reply. To ask a question about this policy, message us in the Scythe Discord.

If how we handle data changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated.
